The 19 year old singer and actress, Miley Cyrus is in talks to star as Bonnie Parker in a Lifetime/ History miniseries, Bonnie & Clyde, reports THR. The project, the first of its kind to air on both AETN networks, is being produced by Smash EPs Neil Meron and Craig Zadan, who are set up at Sony Pictures TV. Cyrus is said to be meeting with directors.
The move follows a growing push by A&E Networks president of entertainment and media Nancy Dubuc to bet big on big names and established titles in the scripted space. Later this fall, Lifetime will roll out its Elizabeth Taylor telepic Liz & Dick, starring another tabloid-friendly former child star Lindsay Lohan.
Don’t forget that In the end of the year “So Undercover” will be releassed. And also be prepared for a new song in November!
