This has been a big year for Miley Cyrus! The starlet cropped her beautiful brown locks, and dyed her hair platinum blonde and also got engaged to her beau Liam Hemsworth. She also says that this year she plans on releasing “the biggest record” she’s ever had, with an album slated for release in the early months of 2013.

Backstage at the iHeartRadio music festival the former Hannah Montana star said she’s excited about getting in to the studio and jamming out. “I see why people just make mixtapes constantly because you get into that groove where you’re just like ‘I don’t wanna get out of my pyjamas today but I wanna go to work, and I wanna make sick music.’” She adds, “It’s so rewarding waiting for those mixes. You sit by your phone until everyone’s done mastering.”

The singing cutie says she has high hopes for her newest effort, “I’ve been in so many sessions and just kind of bunkering down and working really hard and perfecting everything. I’ve never really had time to do that, to kind of have my record kind of ‘done’ and then sit there and make it until it’s perfect. So, it’s been really, really fun. This whole year that’s all I’ve really dedicated life to.”

In June of this year it was announced that Miley would be marrying her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. The couple met in 2009 when they starred in the film The Last Song together. Liam, 22 years old, proposed to Miley, 19, on May 31st with a 3.5 carat diamond ring.

There’s definitely a lot going on in Miley’s world right now but she seems strong and happy so good for her!
