Taylor Swift & Miley Cyrus Nab VMA Nominations

-The nominees for the 2009 MTV VMA’s have been announced. Both Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus received nominations. Taylor for Best Female Video for “You Belong With Me” and Miley for Best Editing for “7 Things.” It’s a little surprising they picked that video for Miley when it was released over a year ago around the same time the Jonas Brothers released “Burnin Up,” which was nominated for VMA’s last year. Guess better late than never.
The awards ceremony will be held in NYC this year on Sept 13. Taylor is also set to perform at the Awards show. Read the full list of nominees HERE. Are you surprised at who got noms and who got snubbed?
